1. New South China Mall (659 612 Square Meters)


New South China Mall in Dongguan, China, is the largest mall in the world. This mall has seven zones based on international cities such as replica of the Arc de Triomphe and a canal with gondolas. The mall also has an indoor-outdoor roller coaster. What he lacks is the mall customers. Since opening in 2005, the mall is still not interested in the business. Most of the retail space remains empty to this day, there are only 47 stores only in it of which can accommodate a maximum capacity of 2 350 stores, which means 99% of the mall is still empty. The only area that is occupied in the mall area near the entrance where several several Western fast food outlets are located. So the mall is dubbed as the world's largest ghost mall.

2. Golden Resources Mall (557 419 Square Meters) 
Golden Resources Mall is the largest shopping center in the world until 2005 before the New South China Mall was built. Although the developers of the mall initially estimated that the mall would be visited by 50,000 shoppers a day, in 2004 the number of buyers is in fact much smaller, only about 20 people every hour in the buyers only. The problem is that the price of the goods sold far beyond the purchasing ability of most Chinese people. Another deterrent is the inaccessibility of this mall by foreign consumers because of its location outside the heart of Beijing.

3. SM City North EDSA (482 878 Square Meters)

  SM City North EDSA is the largest shopping mall in the Philippines and third in the world. The mall is located at the intersection of North Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Quezon City. SM City North EDSA was opened on 25 November 1985. This mall was rebuilt in July 2006, and modernized in December 2008, and in May 2009. SM City North EDSA continues renovated until now. 

4. 1 Utama (465,000 Square Meters)
  This shopping center located in Main Bandar Damansara, a town in the northern part of Petaling Jaya, Selangor and is also located right across from the park Tun Dr Ismail in Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia. This mall is the largest shopping mall in Malaysia and the fourth largest in the world.

5. CentralWorld (429 500 Square Meters)

Opened in 1990, CentralWorld which has eight floors and is located in Bangkok is the largest shopping mall in Thailand. On May 19, 2010, CentralWorld was one of the many properties set on fire by anti-government protesters. Fire raged for two days and the Zen department store collapsed in the fire. Isfahan City Center is the commercial and entertainment center, in Isfahan, Iran. This mall is the largest shopping center in Iran. 7. Persian Gulf Complex (420,000 Square Meters)
Shopping complex located in Shiraz, Iran, is also known as the biggest shopping center in terms of number of stores. With a number of stores to 2,500 stores that meet an area of ​​420,000 square meters.

8. Mid Valley Megamall (420,000 Square Meters)
Mid Valley Megamall is a complex comprising a shopping mall, offices and 2 hotels located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The mall opened in November 1999.

9. Istanbul Cevahir (420,000 Square Meters)
Located on the European side of Istanbul in Turkey, Cevahir Shopping opened in 2005. This mall is the largest shopping center in Europe. There are 343 shops, 34 fast food restaurants and 14 exclusive restaurants in the shopping center. Other facilities include a large stage for events, 12 cinemas, a bowling hall, a small roller coaster and several other entertainment facilities.

10. Sunway Pyramid (396 000 Square Meters)
Sunway Pyramid is a shopping center located in the heart of Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya. One of the design of the mall's most easily recognized are the Egyptian pyramids and the sphinx. Sunway Pyramid is also one of the shopping centers in Malaysia which has indoor ice skating rink.
